About the Founders
Karen Novoa and Deiby Novoa are siblings and the artists behind Shienakara's original art line. Their work brings together watercolor and mixed media on paper, alongside experimental ceramics created through firing techniques such as raku, saggar, and obvara. Each ceramic piece is shaped by fire and unpredictability, resulting in one of a kind objects and limited editions.
Having lived and worked in Colombia, Spain, Canada, and Thailand, their international background informs their sensitivity to color, composition, and materials.
Shienakara presents their artistic work while also opening space for other artists and objects that share a strong visual identity.
