The Sparrow (スズメ, Suzume) is possibly one of the best known birds, as it is the bird that has best adapted to the urban environment. It has a strong beak and a plumage of brownish tones on its back, adorned with black spots.

Unfortunately, in recent decades a sudden decline in its populations has been revealed, due to multiple environmental factors.
