Kanji written in Gyosho (cursive) style.

The Japanese term 瞑想 represents the practice of meditation to achieve self-realization and enlightenment.

It is an opportunity to stop, rest, take a deep breath, think about what is really important and remember that we live in this very moment.

This piece also contains an Enso circle 円相; this is a circle done with brush in one stroke ink and originally comes from Zen culture. This reflects the artist’s mind at the time of composition by means of a single stroke, so it will be unique to each piece.

  • Materials: Cotton Paper and Japanese Ink
